The past week

The peak of the week:

When I fell in love with this red suede jacket! Whatever negative vibes coming my direction in the future, will be swept off as long as I’m wearing this love <3

Downside of the week:

Analyzing Shakespeare in English Language classes…. Sigh, it’s so hard to make sense of. Even though there’s a lot of beautiful sentences in ‘Othello’ by William Shakespeare, I’m pretty sure Shakespeare will never be one of those books I read out of pleasure. Desdemona, Cassio and Lago must wait till I retire and have lots of time to figure out the meaning of “O, beware, my lord, of jealousy; It is the green-ey’d monster, which doth mock
The meat it feeds on.”

Thought of the week:

Enjoy your life. Sounds really cheesy, but it’s true. When you’re away from home, you realize how lucky and privileged you are in everyday. I must say I’m really pleased that fried food, lots of (HUGE) spiders, and cold showers aren’t a part of my everyday life back home in Denmark 🙂

Meal of the week:

The worlds best salat from Wagamama. Warm chili chicken salad was beyond delicious!

Laugh of the week:

When Emma (our host mom) told Alex (our 13 year old host sister) to go get her shoes on, because they had to leave for school. It was Alex’s first day back at school and she was really tired, so when she came into the kitchen in some way too big boots, Emma looked weird at her shoes and asked “Alex, what are you wearing? That’s not your shoes!” Alex had taken on my boots and she didn’t even realized, because she was so tired! Hahaha, Sofie, Emma and I were dead laughing.

Song of the week:

“Lush Life” by Zara Larsson!
